Tunisian pilgrim Loses Life in traffic accident in Mina





(TAP) - The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced on Sunday on its official website the death of a 79-year-old Tunisian pilgrim from Rades (governorate of Ben Arous).

  

 The pilgrim died Saturday in a traffic accident in Mina, said the same source, adding that the family of the deceased had authorised his burial in the holy places.

 Regarding the situation of Tunisian pilgrims and information on the possible disappearance of some of them, official at the Ministry Samir Ben Nassib explained to TAP on the phone from Mina, that the buses that carried the pilgrims had to stop far from the encampment.
 A number of pilgrims arrived late at bus stops, he specified, adding that they are limited and individual cases.

 He stressed that the accompanying persons do their utmost to find the missing pilgrims, stating that the majority of them have been found.
 The final verification of cases of possible missing persons will take place on Monday after returning to Mecca, Ben Nassib specified.
